Kings and Priests
Did you know that the Bible says in Christ we (who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God) are all Kings and Priests. That we have the righteousness of Christ...that when God looks at us He does not see our sin, He see us as perfect because His Son is perfect and He is seeing us in the righteousness of His Son Jesus. Jesus gave us His righteousness. We did not deserve to be given righteousness even though we did nothing righteous at all but then Jesus received our sin when he did nothing wrong to receive our sin or the punishment for our sins. This is the love God gave us that is so hard to understand some people reject it because they cannot believe it....how can you literally take a part of Your Holy Self (like God did) and create a human form of God which you now will call your Son and then not just let Him die but let Him take the sins of every generation for all of time and put it on Him at the cross and this is not even addressing the beating and the pain and suffering He went through on the way to Calvary (where He died on the cross). Keep in mind Jesus is the Father (He who hath seen me hath seen the Father) part of Himself and He allowed this horror. Why? Because God had ordained from the foundation of the world that "without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin"...so God's people shed the blood of goats and sheep and birds and sacrificed and asked forgiveness for their sins once a year. But this was temporary,,,they had the 10 commandments and were following them or trying but every single one failed...through time God allowed man to see that his best efforts could not make him perfect and acceptable to God. God had the answer all along...Jesus, so when God saw the sinful state of man He said "once and for all I am going to settle the sin problem so these children of Mine can get to Me and receive the wonderful life I have for them". This required the shedding of blood...and Jesus was the only Perfect One whose shed blood could once and for all take care of the sin problem. Thus Jesus went to the cross to satisfy once and for all eternity the sin question. His death and Resurrection brought us eternal salvation, healing, life. Eternal life is available to us if we will only believe. That is all God asks. Just believe, like Abraham: He believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. Believe!. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God and you shall be saved. Once again loving Jesus is not about a Church or a religion it is about Jesus. Just believe.

DId you know?
I am just starting to blog. I have been wondering...when you study the Bible and get to know Jesus shouldn't you do something with what you know? I mean it can help someone. I try to think of things to do with what I know of Jesus. I found out the workplace is not necessarily the place to "tell all" about Jesus...simply because they ( employer) are paying you to do the job they set before you...not to exhort, cohort and report about Jesus. We accept that as reasonable. You can go to church (and we should find a place to physically take time out and worship) then, at church you have the ministers who are telling and teaching all about Jesus and here you sit a bundle of "good news" all inside and still you have not shared with anyone or helped anyone with the "Good News". So, what? Got it! You can blog. That way people who are searching and want to know more can read what you say and add to it or ask questions. There is a chance you could help someone grow stronger and more confident in who they are in Christ. There no religious affiliation here. Nothing about religion...about The Trinity: God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and how we can have a relationship with the God of the universe through His Son Jesus. I want to start off with the basics. Here goes: all religions are not the same for anyone who says "well, God is God and we are all trying to get to God regardless of what you call His name: Budah,Mohammad, Joseph Smith, Brigham Young..it is all the same" So says society, but this is not true. No other religion has a living Savior who paid their sin debt besides Christianity. Christ Jesus took our sins once and for all, for all of mankind and for all generations; every sin that had been committed or would ever be committed and laid them on Jesus so he could once and for all eternity shed His perfect blood (because God required the shedding of blood) to pay the sin debt and open the door for us to have a relationship with God the Father through the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ. So, here, even though I am not talking about any religion, I am letting everyone know up front I am talking about a belief in the Christ, Jesus of the triune God..Jehovah God. (Nothing about Jehovah's witness at all) I just want to talk about how good God is and how much He loves us and how little we understand about His love and how much we can know and how wonderful it all is in Christ. I think I will write a little each day or week and just talk about God and His love for me and for you. Do you have a question about God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit or how to be saved or speak in tongues or about healing or sickness or faith.?..ask if you will and I will try my best to get you a good answer. Yours in Christ
